De Razer BlackWidow V4 is een mechanisch gaming toetsenbord met uitstekende bouwkwaliteit, een aluminium bovenplaat en stevige constructie. Het toetsenbord biedt zes speciale macrotoetsen, een magnetische polssteun en twee verstelbare hellingshoeken voor comfort. De latency is extreem laag en stabiel, wat het ideaal maakt voor competitief gamen. De RGB-verlichting per toets en goed zichtbare symbolen zorgen voor een prettige ervaring in donkere ruimtes. Nadelen zijn dat het toetsenbord alleen bekabeld werkt, vrij groot en zwaar is, en ABS-keycaps gebruikt die minder duurzaam zijn dan PBT. Sommige geavanceerde functies vereisen de Synapse 3-software op Windows. Over het algemeen is dit toetsenbord een sterke keuze voor gamers die waarde hechten aan prestaties en extra functies, maar minder geschikt voor wie mobiliteit of compactheid zoekt.

Contrary to what I had read on the Internet (only Windows is listed here), this keyboard is not 100% Linux compatible. The keys on the left are not recognised. On the other hand, the light really highlights the dust on the keyboard, but that means I clean it very often, which is perhaps not such a bad thing. It's a very good keyboard for gaming and makes a nice sound, but I often find myself wondering whether I should go back to a "normal" keyboard.

Excellent keyboard, no complaints. It does the job very well, quickly and efficiently. I recommend it for gaming.

Good product, the volume control wheel is great. The RGB is nice and easy to configure. What's a little unsettling is that the lettering on the keys is at the bottom for capital letters and at the top for lowercase letters, but otherwise I recommend it.

I was attracted by its supposed longevity, but the keys click when you press them, make more noise than a mouse and that bothers me. The macro keys also seemed like an interesting addition, but I regularly take my hands off the keyboard and when I have to put them back on I find myself shifting one key to the left each time, which is quite disturbing. Nor is it possible to deactivate the lighting without installing Razer's software.
