De Philips HC5632/15 is een wasbare haarclipper uit de 5000 serie met Trim-n-Flow technologie, 28 lengte-instellingen van 0.5-28 mm en turbo boost voor dik haar. I had only used the clippers a few times, only to tidy in between haircuts.. until recently I had been pleased with the quality and ergonomics of them. And just under 12 months old I found the dial failed and wouldn’t change the clipper lengths, but unfortunately this happened during a cut and ended up with a bald patch on the back..! I guess the plastic dial just failed when I though it was at a fuller length and left me with this disaster.

Ik vind het apparaat op zich heel mooi, gebruiksvriendelijk en stil vergeleken met mijn vorige tondeuse, maar ben erg teleurgesteld dat er geen duidelijkere informatie over het missen van bepaalde standen te vinden was. Helaas zijn dat precies de standen die ik had willen gebruiken.Als er als info op site/doos etc staat, dat de tondeuze-standen gaan van 0.5 naar 28mm, dan verwacht je niet, dat er in de verpakking geen opzetstuk voor de standen 1.0mm tot 2.5mm zit. Dit zijn helaas de standen die ik had willen gebruiken.Voor de duidelijkheid….. standen die wel te gebruiken zijn: 0.5mm en 3mm t/m 28mmIk gebruik nu met tegenzin mijn oude tondeuse weer.

Is this a beard clipper or hair clipper even Phillips seem confused. It is not as compact as earlier models nor as easy to use. It is clumsy rather than intuitive in use. It is disappointing as I was pleased with the previous model and this is a backward step.

After my last machine died, I bought this new hair clipper. I am impressed by its light weight, ease of use and battery life. It’s design make it easy for me to carry around on my vacations.Charging time is also short. A winner in my opinion.
