De Philips Series 3000 MG3740/15 is een veelzijdige trimmer met 13 opzetstukken voor hoofd, baard, neus en oren. De zelfslijpende stalen messen zorgen voor langdurige scherpte en een gelijkmatig resultaat. De batterij gaat tot 60 minuten mee, maar het opladen duurt wel 16 uur en er is geen laadindicator. Het apparaat is licht en comfortabel, maar de behuizing is volledig van plastic en niet waterdicht. De opzetstukken zijn makkelijk te reinigen, maar het apparaat zelf mag niet onder de kraan. Dit model biedt veel waar voor zijn geld, maar wie een premium gevoel of snellere oplaadtijd zoekt, kan beter verder kijken.

I really like this trimmer. It appears that phillips has taken a different approach for the future eliminating the foil shaver part.

I've had this trimmer for about 6 months. Have never once made it thru a trim on a full charge. A 15 minute trim takes and hour+ because I have to continue recharging it mid shave, which compounded with the fact it cannot charge while plugged in only makes it more frustrating. I actually really like the tool, but the battery is akin to an early 00s RC car "charge this battery pack for 6 hours for 12 minutes of fun!"

I hate to give such a terrible rating, but there is really no other choice. I bought this product form Walmart in February and it worked wonderfully for a couple months. However, after charging it just 2 or 3 times, the charger no longer works. It doesn't even stay connecting to the trimmer when plugged in, and it doesn't charge it either, so now the product is useless. Really disappointed with this purchase, seeing as how I thought it would be my trimmer for more than just 3 months.
