I liked the XTi 4002 so much that I bought the 2002! PLUS... the reconditioned unit price made for one sweet deal. Enough power to make my monitor rig scream and yet it'snot that heavy to move from gig to gig.Crown quality at a nice price with PSSL free shipping - that's the ticket!

I purchased this in 2016, and for these last 2 years it has worked without a hiccup. Excellent functions included.

Een paar weken terug heb ik deze versterker gekocht en bevalt me erg goed. De geluidskwaliteit is prima; alles wordt lekker helder weer gegeven en hoge tonen klinken niet eens scherp op hogere volumes. De ventilator aan de achterkant draait bijna nooit dus voor eventueel thuis gebruik is het ook nog eens mooi stil. Als je de audio architect software voor deze versterker download en installeerd, de versterker met usb aansluit op je pc, ontdek je ineens dat er nog veel meer dingen in te stellen zijn dan de instellingen die op de versterker zelf te bedienen zijn. Het is bijvoorbeeld wel fijn om de karakteristiek van de versterker in een eq aan te kunnen passen, om tekortkomingen van de speakers te compenseren. Voor dit soort bewerkingen zijn nette graphische interfaces gemaakt (de eq bestaat uit een soort grafiek/bode diagram IPV. schuifjes op bepaalde frequenties). De versterker was ook snel geleverd en netjes verpakt, prima service dus.

The amp section proved to be everything that we needed it to be. We used the amp to drive both monitors and mains in a small church. The DSP was another issue. After downloading Crown's latest software to a high-end laptop and allowing the software to update, we were never able to get the DSP out of stereo mode. The screen would give the option of stereo, bridged, or dual mono, but none of the settings made any changes to the rest of the DSP. It remained in stereo mode regardless. As a result, any changes made in EQ, limiting, etc. affected both channels. We managed a work-around but were not very pleased as one of the major reasons for buying this amp was to avoid the expense of outboard speaker processing gear.
