The controls are anti-intuitive and the radio antennae is poor. Probably the worst thing is that all the controls are on the top so that when you reach out to do any action, you are likely to trigger the wrong thing. This means when you press to reduce the brightness, it’s easy to accidentally hit the radio on or the alarm and then you’re trying to stop it blaring (think 5am) you can’t find the right button. All the buttons are multi-functional and either operate the radio or the alarm, but here’s the real problem: depending on what specific mode it’s in within the radio or alarm mode, the button does different things! Honestly, it’s not even good as a clock radio because the dimmest setting still lights up a dark room. It looks great, which is why it gets 1 star. Do not buy this for anyone elderly.

We hebben twee van deze wekker radios in gebuikt. Display is supergoed te dimmen en ook de mogelijkheid om twee verschillende wektijden te programmeren is ideaal. MAARRRRRRR, bij het afgaan van de wekker loopt het volume van de radio en de wektoon automatisch op naar maximale waarden zodat het hele blok en de straat mee kan luisteren. NIET NORMAAL zo hard. En binnen 10 sec. Dus heb niet de ilusie dat je even lekker rustig wakker kunt worden met het journaal, want de radio gaat binnen 10 sec naar max volume, zo hard dat de luidpspreker zelfs gaat vervormen. Wij hebben de luidsprekers goed afgeplakt met duct tape en zetten hem zsm nadat hij afgaat uit. Dit is niet in te stellen of aan te passen helaas en ik zie het als een productiefout

Wij waren eerst gaan kijken bij Mediamarkt voor een nieuwe klokradio, maar helaas hadden ze dit type niet in voorraad, enkel een demonstratiemodel. Dus zijn we op zoek gegaan op internet en daar hebben we hetzelfde toestel gevonden en sanderendaags geleverd. Heel tevreden met de aankoop. Werkt perfect zoals uitgelegd in de handleiding. Het was wel even uitzoeken om de juiste manier van instellen te vinden. Maar alles goed gelukt. Zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit.
