Sharp and precision cut plastic tubing . Excellent for my job I love it

This Proxxon saw is perfect for my needs. High quality, powerful and precise. I build custom LED lighting and needed a good saw to cut the aluminum channels I use. I purchased the 36-Tooth Carbide Tipped Saw Blade for the aluminum channels and it cuts easily and clean. As I read a lot of reviews about the smoked plastic blade guard and not being able to see your cut line, I found a simple solution, trim 1/2" off the blade guard and works perfect (see photos). The adjustable clamping vise is another great feature. I would give this 10 stars !

I use this for 300 BlkOut and works perfectly. Great Saw.

Good accurate chop saw. I don't recommend for miter cuts; the blade will come in contact with the clamping device at any angle greater than about 25 degrees (you will have to remember to adjust the head away from the clamping device). If you're anticipating multiple equal length cuts, be prepared for the material to go flying (the stop adjusts on the right side of the material instead of the left, the blade will catch the piece being cut off). Otherwise, ok for the price.
