Have similar features as more expensive plunge saw like soft start, scrolling cut for laminates and lock for track to prevent tipping. Powerful enough to cut 1" countertop cleanly. It has anti kickback lock which I find it a hassle to use especially when using the scrolling feature (it can be taken off easily). The cut is as good as table saw but handles sheet products much easier. The only negative I can think of is the 20mm arbour saw blade (need to get from specialty store), but then most plunge saw use same size. Saw is heavier than competitors but price is a lot lower. Overall it is a keeper in my tool collection.

I purchased this saw through rockler and I was unimpressed. First, the saw felt under powered and had difficulty with 1/2 in baltic birch ply. The cut quality was poor with lots of tear out. The worst thing was the anti-kickback feature. The saw will not go backwards on the track to prevent kickback. Therefore, when you do a scoring cut you have to remove the saw from the track and start over. If you track is not locked down this can cause it to move. Returned it after completing one cabinet project.

Bought this saw to break down sheets of plywood for the kitchen cabinets I was (actually still am) building. Love it! Saw cuts clean in either cross or rip where my standard saw with even the best blade I had would splinter the edge in cross cuts. Dust collection while not perfect is very good even without attaching a vacuum. With a vacuum it is almost perfect. Would have given it 5 stars but the guide tends to shift on prefinished plywood. Bought the clamps Triton sells for the track which I highly recommend and the problem ended. My saw came with a second blade and a spare set of brushes. Also own a Triton router and after much use still highly recommend both.
