De Beurer BM54 is een betrouwbare bovenarm bloeddrukmeter met Bluetooth, waardoor je eenvoudig meetresultaten naar de Beurer HealthManager app kunt sturen. Het apparaat is klinisch gevalideerd en biedt een groot, goed afleesbaar display en een kleurgecodeerde WHO risicometer. De BM54 is geschikt voor twee gebruikers en heeft 60 geheugenplaatsen per persoon. Arritmie-detectie is aanwezig, wat extra veiligheid biedt. Nadelen zijn het ontbreken van een netstroomoptie, het feit dat de manchet voor sommige mensen minder comfortabel zit en dat je een compatibele smartphone nodig hebt voor appgebruik. Over het algemeen is dit een solide keuze voor thuisgebruik, maar let op de genoemde beperkingen.

An ok machine if you use it standalone but if you’re buying it for the connectivity (which is the point of this model) then don’t bother. Old app was great and supported Apple Health sync. The new app as of Oct 2024 is very unstable (won’t reliably sync results to app) and more importantly for me, no longer syncs to Apple Health. If you want that functionality, you’ll need to step up to something like the Withings product.

I bought this some time back, and in October 2024 they altered the app v 2.3 and it scrambled all my data readings. started again and the app not working, no averages no graphs and unable to share with doctor, report not created. contacted braun a lot. There customer service useless, ignore the customer. AVOID THIS PRODUCT if you want easy connectivity etc
