Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR

Traded some other equipment for this lens. Lens is ultra sharp. Great customer service from Castle Cameras.

I purchased this -mm f. Nikkor to replace a traded in -mm f. Nikkor originally purchased in . Wow, things have moved on considerably. The old lens had a button to enable macro close focus. This new lens needs no button and focuses easily close enough. The zoom range is also a lot wider removing the need for mm and mm lenses. The VR capability allows hand held use in low light as an added bonus. I don't miss the aperture ring as I always use the body controls anyway. One very nice lens. Thanks guys.
