Ricoh GR IV Monochrome

Firstly,you probably know if you want this or not. As I choose to shoot monochrome all the time, this was a very easy choice. However, though I have a set of lenses for my M, I do not have pockets deep enough for a M Monochrom. These are just my opinions. Lots more online. - The ring around the lens that you can remove... it fell off and got lost in days. It's a terrible design. - The camera runs very hot under use. Extended or not. - The battery life.... for the size, is acceptable. - The size....amazing, literally pocketable. - The RAW files, excellent to work with. I do not regret the purchase of this camera. But, it could be better.

Do not buy your cameras here, they often come defective and the henrys store wont even lift a finger to replace it, even within the 15 days.

Bought it last month and have been enjoying it so far

After 6 weeks and 240 shots, the camera lens is stuck 'out'. This is really poor from my perspective as it is a work tool for me (I'm a surveyor). The pictures are great, but the build quality is not good enough for a £1,200 piece of kit. It has to go back (can't replace as it's more than 30 days old!). I'm back with my 5 year old Sony RX100 which has never let me down.
