De Sony A6600 biedt uitstekende autofocus, beeldkwaliteit en stabilisatie, en is zeer geschikt voor zowel foto als video. De batterijduur is top en 4K video-opname kent geen limiet. Nadelen zijn de beperkte buffer voor RAW-burst, slechts één langzame SD-kaartsleuf en het ontbreken van een ingebouwde flitser. Ook reageren de menu's soms traag. Voor gevorderde fotografen en videomakers is dit een veelzijdige en betrouwbare camera, maar sport- of actiefotografen kunnen de buffer als beperkend ervaren.

Love this camera so much!! The lens is really versatile and the photos are such good quality. Really pleased with it. Perfect more compact camera, that you can add to if needed. Have got some amazing portraits too & 4K videos so far! Easy to use as well for a my first proper camera but also has the settings for those with more experience & knowledge! Very very happy with it and reasonable price.

The picture quality surpasses that of my full frame camera at high ISO it retains more detail and shows virtually no chromatic abberations. The 18-135 lens is great for travel as it gives the equivalent of 27mm to just over 200mm on full frame cameras and it focuses fast enough for birds in flight and when set up with centre weighted exposure it exposes spot for birds that are even distant in the sky. Battery life is great now that the capacity has been increased from some of the earlier A6xxx series with the bonus that the grip is much bigger because of this.

There’s a lot of great features in this all-round model from Sony. It’s packed with fantastic technology which enables you to capture subjects in a variety of different scenarios. However, the body design lacks imagination and can even be frustrating to use at times.

Happy I bought this camera to replace my worn out NEX 6. Familiar menu structure from my Sony A77. Great additional functions and stunning autofocus performance so far.
