After tasting High Street coffee from the larger chains, I became dissatisfied with instant coffee and decided to buy a "bean to cup" machine. Having researched a large range of machines, from basic to ultra expensive. I decided on the Philips Bean to Cup Coffee Machine EP2220/10_BK, and am pleased I did. It is easy to use and makes a great cup of coffee at the press of a button. Just load up the machine with beans and water and it is ready for many cups of coffee.

Chinese troep?? Ik heb helaas de recensies niet gelezen voordat ik het apparaat heb gekocht. Ik heb exact dezelfde problemen als vele anderen hier. Water lekkage ( vanaf het begin) en een ongelofelijke herrie ( soms wel 90 db). Ik heb het apparaat nu opgestuurd, maar ik heb wel door dat bij Philips tegenwoordig garantie niet veel meer betekend. Ik heb 2 jaar geleden een airfryer XL gekocht. Binnen 1 maand terug gestuurd en vervolgens binnen 2 jaar de vuilnis container in. Het lijkt wel Chinese troep.

While being completely comprehensive--grinding, brewing, water, etc--this machine is still compact and fits easily in my small space. I leave it out on the counter top and have had no issues with space. Next, the machine is so easy to use, works seamlessly, and produces delicious coffee, espresso, or steamed milk every time. I used to manually make coffee every day, and I've not gone to a coffee shop or made coffee manually since I purchased this machine. The adjustable spout is wonderful for different sized cups. I am very satisfied with my machine and would absolutely recommend.

Unit worked for less than 2 months. I was told it had to be returned to the service centre. I am now being told the regular turnaround is 20-30 days. I have had no communication and the customer service representative refused to answer my request to escalate the complaint.
