Now in their final months at East High, sweethearts Troy (Efron) and Gabriella (Hudgens) face the awful prospect of going to college a thousand miles apart. But as they ponder their future, there’s a musical to stage!

It's your typical Disney movie for teenagers who like the actors and the type of music found in it. I enjoyed it for the musical numbers and all and I am 46 years old! Go figure, 'cause I can't. I guess it's what you could label as a guilty pleasure! The picture and audio are excellent, as are most of Disney's blus, but was pleasantly surprised that they took so much care for this particular title as it's aimed at adolescents who probably wouldn't even notice if there were video/audio anomilies. Exras were plentiful and pleasant enough. Note: My overall score was a five because I did it on the basis of the average of allfour catagories. If one of your teens begs for this, why not go the extra and get them the blu for a few dollars more.

Leave it to Disney to keep dragging out these musicals until the popularity wanes. Yeah it may be "senior year" but, wouldn't put it past them to bring out a 4th. This was a strong comeback after a mediocre to poor second movie. Big screen worthy...well maybe not but, with as popular as this series seems to be at least it was a good move to make some money. That said, the story was pretty much the same as the other two. As with the first one, this one did it well and likely the best in the series IMO. Disney also does it again with an excellent video as well as audio transfer.

Out of all of the High School Musical movies, this surpasses the other two. It was entertaining, had great music with a lot of fun mixed in. The video quality was stunning, could see every detail in the picture. The audio was a masterpiece and really made this movie shine. The extras were better than the previous Blu-Ray discs, but not by far. Overall, the best High School Musical out there, just too bad this was the last one with these actors. Get ready for the fourth one to be on T.V. with new actors. Highly recommended!

HSM3 was i think the best musical for now... It can make every senior feel that it's really gonna be over for them, they're going separate places after graduation... And for me, as a high school student, it had touched me in different ways... The movie made me want to perform because it is so energetic, all the numbers make you have Last Song Syndrome (LSS), and even though I don't really enjoy love scenes, this movie kinda made me like it... If you compare this to other musicals, this would be the leading one, this is the best among musicals as for now.
