Agents of Mayhem biedt explosieve actie met stijlvol schietwerk en een uniek karakter-wisselingsmechaniek tussen 12 diverse agents. Het spel schittert in zijn frenetieke gevechten en visuele presentatie, met een kleurrijk cartoonachtig design dat doet denken aan jaren '80 G.I. Joe-animaties. Elke agent voelt uniek aan met eigen wapens, vaardigheden en persoonlijkheden, wat veel strategische mogelijkheden biedt. Het aanpasbaarheidsysteem is uitgebreid met 15 moeilijkheidsgraden en talloze ontgrendelbare items. Helaas wordt de ervaring ondermijnd door repetitieve missies die steeds dezelfde formule volgen: checkpoints bereiken, golven vijanden verslaan, herhalen. De open wereld van Seoul voelt levenloos aan zonder dynamische gebeurtenissen. Langzame karakter-wisseling en vaardigheden kunnen frustreren. Na 20-25 uur treedt vermoeidheid op ondanks de 25-uur durende campagne. Geschikt voor spelers die houden van arcadeachtige actie en bereid zijn herhaling te accepteren voor stijlvolle gevechten.

Decent game for the price, If you like classic sonic, this game is for you. Not as good as colors, but better than forces.

I picked up this game, although I read all the bad reviews. This game is a fun shoot 'em up that doesn't require a time commitment. The graphics are cool with a anime type feel. The characters are all fun to use and you can sink a few hours in because it's always fun blowing stuff up and shooting hordes of enemies. One down side is that it can become a bit repetitive so you may need to switch up your play selection. For fans of shooters, this game is definitely worth trying out so don't let all the negative reviews deter you, as comparisons to games in the Saint Row series or major shooters like Overwatch are not fair comparisons.
