LEGO Horizon Adventures rewrites a few story elements to make it more fun and allow co-op, but does a decent job in bringing Horizon and LEGO together to make yet another hit game for both franchises.

This game is perfect for younger children. My 4 year old was scared during parts of the original game, and while she loves the Aloy character, she didn't like to watch a good portion of the game. She loves this game, not only can she play along, but you can turn off the damage to characters and she can play without being scared of dying. It has boosted her confidence and will only help her as she gets older and ready for more challenges. 10/10 for the younger gamer, fun for parents too. The co-op really makes for a good bonding experience. I wouldn't get this if you are a dark souls fan though.

A surprisingly charming Lego-ified version of a PlayStation icon, this action adventure has superb combat and sumptuous, entirely Lego-built environments. Mix in some nice village cosmetic tinkering, great vocal delivery from the returning Ashly Burch, and the fact it's also on Switch and it's a very welcome offering. Sadly it runs out of steam after some 10 hours, so it's short but very sweet.

Lego Horizon Adventures is a funny platformer that avoids adapting the source material’s complex lore and opts for simple, repetitive levels that become tiresome quickly. However, despite heartfelt vocal performances and beautiful world design, Lego Horizon Adventures fails to reach its full potential.

LEGO Horizon Adventures offers a playful retelling of Horizon Zero Dawn, blending the iconic story of Aloy with LEGO's signature charm, humor, and style. This isometric action-adventure game simplifies the original's intense narrative, focusing on environmental themes and character relationships, providing a lighthearted, engaging experience for fans of all ages. — Cassie Peterson
