JOOP! Homme Eau de Toilette 125 ml

Personally, I really like Joop Homme Le Parfum, because there are hardly any other men's fragrances that smell similar. I would even claim that, for many people, it smells more like a women's fragrance - so powdery and soft. I think it's a real shame that the fragrance has become so unpopular just because it doesn't smell typically masculine, like aftershave. But that's exactly what makes it special! For me, a really great addition to the collection, especially because it's something completely different.

My absolute favorite scent. It was the first fragrance I bought as a perfume, EdT, aftershave, and shower gel. That was after my graduation in 1994, no internet, no perfume shop in the area. I had to travel to the big city to get it, but I still have it (the EdT and the aftershave) and it smells just like it did back then. No loss of scent, no fading - I love it.

Joop! Homme Eau de Toilette was a frequent companion in my youth; I received it as a gift during my late teenage years, along with the deodorant stick shown above. At that time, I didn't have much connection to perfumes, but at least I was equipped with something of my own and used both until they were finished. I remember it being overly sweet for me back then, with a strong floral aspect and a bit of fruitiness, which was balanced or complemented by something that made it feel and be perceived as masculine. Probably the spiciness from cinnamon and sandalwood. For me, it was quite wearable at that time. I can only recount the scent description of Joop! Homme Eau de Toilette as a reminiscence; it hasn't been around for a long time. It wasn't bad, but I preferred Cool Water Eau de Toilette at the time, or later "CK One (Eau de Toilette) | Calvin Klein." Nevertheless, Joop! Homme Eau de Toilette remains a companion of youth..

Scent: Sweet-spicy with caramel, cinnamon-like, vanilla & floral accents. Striking. Longevity: lasts about 6-7 hours Bottle: The brown crystal remains a statement. Joop! Homme, you either celebrate the sugar bomb or you hate it. Target audience: Bold types who love sweet power scents. Conclusion: well suited for autumn/winter.
