Mercedes‑Benz Club Black is een populaire designergeur met een duidelijke focus op donkere, romige vanille gecombineerd met amber, benzoïne en een zachte rokerige incense‑toon. Veel reviewers beschrijven de geur als gourmand‑achtig, warm en sensueel, zonder dat hij volledig naar een eetbare dessertgeur doorslaat. De prestaties worden consequent geprezen: op veel huiden haalt hij rond de acht uur of meer, met in de eerste uren een sterke tot zeer duidelijke projectie en een merkbaar spoor. Daardoor komt hij het best tot zijn recht in koelere seizoenen, ’s avonds, bij uitgaan of op dates, waar de zoete, uitnodigende vanille goed tot zijn recht komt. Aan de minpuntenkant noemen meerdere bronnen dat de zoetheid en dichtheid snel te veel kunnen worden, zeker in warmte of in kleine, formele kantoorruimtes. Wie niet van uitgesproken vanille‑geuren houdt, zal deze compositie waarschijnlijk te eenzijdig vinden. Ook wordt soms vermeld dat de geïntegreerde sprayknop wat minder stevig aanvoelt. Mercedes Benz Club Black is a fragrance that flies under the radar for many. It is a beautiful winter and autumn scent that is nearly unbeatable for the price. In my opinion, it has by far one of the most beautiful vanilla notes of all the perfumes I have tested. Only PDM Althair competes with it in my view. The combination of vanilla, incense, and bergamot creates a DNA that is hardly disliked by anyone. Overall, Mercedes Benz Club Black is one of the most recommendable perfumes in my opinion, due to its price and its incredibly beautiful scent. While the sillage and longevity are not outstanding, they definitely hold their own.

I am in love! If you don’t like this I will gladly take/buy your bottle. This has a beautiful tea quality from the bergamot and a gorgeous, sweet smoky and fuzziness from the benzoin. So I get a very resinous vanilla with a earl grey edge and a very Smokey- incense dry down. I’m a woman and I can’t get enough! I wish it performed a bit better but I am testing this in summer and I live in Texas. Seriously, I need back up bottles.

'Dark Vanilla' is the easy descriptor for Mercedes-Benz Club Black. Vanilla as a note in masculine perfumery is generally less sweet, elegant and easy to wear. The dark vanilla in MBCB is rich, creamy, and deep. There isn't much more of a descriptor for it. I don't pick up wood notes and this is very linear on me. I think the benzoin and incense act as thickeners for the vanilla and provide some of the 'darkness'. Club Black makes a solid choice for colder season office wear as it isn't too overpowering or spicy and just exudes class and simple elegance. Mercedes-Benz Club Black does carry the 'hyped' label from many online reviewers and caught my attention as a hard to find and soon to be discontinued gem which would send prices up. It hadn't been available for awhile from the discounters I buy from and when I heard it was in stock but soon to run out I took the chance to purchase. Thumbs up.

Can't believe something this cheap is so good. Lasts for at least 8hrs don't get the spice bomb connection but it's really good.
