Yves Saint Laurent Y Eau de Toilette is een frisse, schone mannengeur met een moderne blauwe stijl. De geur opent helder en koel met citrus en aldehyden, gevolgd door aromatische tonen en een zachte hout‑ en muskusbasis. Veel gebruikers waarderen hoe makkelijk draagbaar en compliment‑vriendelijk hij is, vooral overdag en op het werk. Tegelijk hoor je vaak dat de prestaties slechts gemiddeld zijn: de geur projecteert sterk in het begin maar zakt na enkele uren duidelijk weg. In reviews wordt ook regelmatig genoemd dat de EDP en andere flankers voller en krachtiger ruiken, waardoor deze EDT minder speciaal kan aanvoelen. Voor wie een eenvoudige, frisse allrounder zoekt en geen extreem sterke geur nodig heeft, blijft dit echter een betrouwbare keuze.

I wrote a review for Prada L'Homme, where the scent was given the title "Fresh Shirts." In my opinion, this fragrance is the actual "Fresh Shirts" scent, as it smells like freshly washed clothes. The scent is very intense, to the point that it sometimes made my throat scratch, even though unfortunately the fragrance doesn't last very long. I would recommend it to a younger audience. I wouldn't rate the price-performance ratio very highly.

This fragrance is an everyday weapon. Not something that stands out excessively, but when noticed, it generally receives only positive feedback. Seasonally, it is hardly restricted, although in the warmer months, its fresh notes are quite pleasant to wear. A very uncomplicated scent, as one is used to from some designers. Unfortunately, its longevity is just as improvable as the bottle design, but you can get it relatively cheaply on the right sites.

I have been using this perfume for about 20 years and it's always been amazing. It lasts for most of the day. It's a shame they stopped doing the powder and body cream that matched. It's good value too.

Compared to other scents this one has a distinct crisp and fresh hit when applied to the skin. If you want to compare this to another scent like the aqua di gio light blue. Whichever version of that fragance even the strong profondo has distinct burnt quality but still being light in freshness compared to this scent.
