Product is used as a connection cable between the AVR and a Subwoofer. Purchased product based on the claim that it reduces subwoofer hum. It does not. The pigtail on the cable was to connect both amp and subwoofer chassis to eliminate hum.

Audio Quest is a little pricey but it is worth it. I have used their products for more than 15 years (and still using it) and am satisfied with the quality of their products. I am actually still using my old Audio Quest DVI, component video, Audio cables and optical digital cable from my old home theater and they still work great.
