De Sony WH-1000XM5 Zilver biedt een van de beste noise cancelling prestaties op de markt en zit zeer comfortabel, zelfs bij langdurig gebruik. De geluidskwaliteit is helder en gedetailleerd, met een krachtige bas, maar soms kan die bas de middentonen wat overheersen. De batterij gaat tot 30 uur mee en de microfoon is uitstekend voor gesprekken. Een nadeel is dat de koptelefoon niet meer opvouwbaar is, waardoor hij minder makkelijk mee te nemen is. Ook ondersteunt hij geen aptX, wat voor sommige gebruikers een minpunt kan zijn. De prijs is relatief hoog, maar de kwaliteit en functies zijn voor veel gebruikers de investering waard.

I got these Sony headphones as a gift. Ive had my eye on them for quite some time and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the product . The noise cancelling is honestly amazing, and so is the sound. The bass sounds great, and its awesome that you can adjust the sound to your liking on the app. Its also super light and comfortable on your head . If you want new headphones I definitely recommend these. Totally worth the price !! I couldn’t be more happy with this product.

The headphones arrived and at first glance they look amazing! However when I configured them to my phone I noticed a few hiccups. They tend to disconnect at random, and truthfully the ANC is just ok. The ANC on the XM4S works much better and the sounds quality is amazing. There is deeper, richer bass, which the XM5 is missing. Moreover, I noticed that the hinges feel flimsy and when I went online to read reviews, that pretty much solidified my decision to return them. Imagine purchasing such expensive, premium headphones only for them to break within a year? More than 25% of users experience this and the warranty doesn’t cover it (there is an active lawsuit in the US regarding the XM5) The bargain on them was great, but for my peace of mind , and also because of the disappointing sound and connection issues, I’m saying goodbye to them.

Useless product for its price. Connections drops intermittently. Start, stop and Bluetooth on/off sounds are not good enough, there should be voice message. It hurts on ears after using for some time. Can get better products at much cheaper cost.
