I have to print everything twice because the first copy is always ruined by massive ink blobs. Ive run every option my printer has to clean and align and this keeps happening. You end up wasting money buying this deal because so much ink gets wasted. Dont get the impression that second prints are any better. The corners of sheets printed for a second time are still ink stained.

Ink is ink, not much to say other than OEM works as it should.

This ink turns out crisp, clean copy that nearly rivals laser print to my eyes. I wish they lasted longer, but I do think that home users with normal needs would be happy with this. Note: I don't use much color, but have been impressed with the maps I have printed.

Just as I believe that Canon cameras should be equipped with Canon accessories, I also believe that Canon printers should be replenished with Canon brand ink. IMO, the couple of dollars one saves by buying an Office Store brand is penny wise and pound foolish. A major con, and I know this isn't exclusive to Canon printers. Ink cartridges are expensive and the Pixma guzzles ink like a 1975 Dodge Polara. Perhaps that is a slight exaggeration, but I think you get the message. For printing digital photos, it is sometimes less expensive to send them via the web to a photo lab than to use a large amount of ink on one's home printer.
