I got this printer for my work. Unfortunately, HP doesn't tell you that the USB connection is actually incompatible with Windows 10. Every tech support indicated that I should just use the Embedded Web Server. What they don't recognize or care about is that that is a security issue and only an option if I'm the network administrator. Because of the security problems, the network administrators wouldn't allow it. So, I have to create a whole new terminal using a new machine on Windows 7 just to get the printer that is supposedly compatible with Windows 10, according to HP, just to use it. This has been a terrible headache and I would not recommend anyone get this is their using a modern operating system.

It prints beautifully You can leave it without printing for over a month, come back and do a print off the bat! Epson can NEVER do this, and a main reason I don't use Epson any more. Easy feed, and roll. Not finicky, which is the opposite of Epson. Large inks that are effecient in use, so its little waste. (Another Epson blunder. The prints last 100+ years. No I didn't est this, as I only had it a short while. Its according to that group that tests them. I think Erik runs it. A brilliant guy. They do some aging process and estimate the life. Getty uses this printer for their archiving. That should mean something. There are many more things I could praise about it.... Build quality overall is very good. CONS: The paper bin is weak and has not held up well The belt is made with inferior material and will need to be changed. The work is not cheap. The replacement is not a better belt. The purge tray will need a service to clean.

The picture quality on this printer is superb! If you're looking into getting a quality printer that doesn't gouge your wallet, look no more. I am very satisfied with the results this printer puts out.

I have been printing for decades. Have had the Epson and Canon large format printers in the past, Epson clogs a lot and the Canon ipf 5000 printers that I had would never work right with the roller, only worked with sheets. I did a lot of research prior to this purchase, and liked the clog free reports, the user replaceable and inexpensive print heads, and after using it I find the print quality is the best feature of all. Hats off to Adorama for the excellent delivery service, which was a concern with this 200 pound printer. The driver unloaded from the truck and delivered it right where I wanted it, over the top service!
