Handmatige espressomachine met pomp, waterreservoir en stoompijp voor melk. Het toestel heeft een uitneembare lekbak, een verstelbare kopjessteun en bediening met draaiknop. Er zijn filterhouders voor een of twee kopjes aanwezig. De behuizing is compact en bedoeld voor plaatsing op het aanrecht. Het apparaat werkt met gemalen koffie en heeft een apart reservoir voor water.

I used to have a brilliant no-name coffee maker which lasted only for 1 year, so I decided I buy this Delonghi machine 1 month ago with high hopes. I have always been grinding the coffee beans by myself, so it took time to find out the best match to this coffee maker. If I used a coarser grind, I could pull a very watery coffee. If I used a finer grind, coffee could just dripping and flowing. Tried to tamp strongly and lightly in both cases. I expected to pull a creamy, bodied coffee, which can sit on the top of the milk, but this coffee maker is not able to make it. I was chatting with customer service, but it seems I expected too much... Overall I am highly disappointed, you can buy a way cheaper coffee machine for this result... Another annoying issue, that it very difficult to get out the coffee filter, I have the use a spreading knife which is ridiculous. I will see, how long the machine lasts. Overall, I do not recommend this machine.

My old machine was around £40 very basic but had the same functions. You had to physically pour in a cup of water each time, but it was worth it. The pressure extracting the coffee was great & Squeezed out every drop of water from the coffee beans. I paid over £100 for this and using the biggest “cup” for the ground coffee is small and can only make one cup at best. It’s a lovely enough machine & simple to use. The coffee is a pretty smooth drink but I believe that anyone wanting a strong Expresso will be disappointed.
