De Smeg DCF02SSEU combineert klassieke jaren '50 esthetiek met moderne functionaliteit, waardoor het een opvallende toevoeging is aan elke keuken. Hoewel de premium prijs (rond €300) aanzienlijk hoger ligt dan standaard filterkofficemachines, krijg je hiervoor een hoogwaardig apparaat met glazen karaf, stil bedrijf en handige functies zoals programmeerbare autostart. De aroma-intensiteit selector en 40-minuten warmhoudfunctie zijn praktische pluspunten. Kopers moeten echter rekening houden met het grote formaat en de korte stroomkabel. Let op dat de '10 kopjes' capaciteit verwijst naar kleine espressokopjes - in werkelijkheid krijg je 4-5 normale mokken uit een volle karaf.

I was super sad when my old machine finally packed up. But then I found SMEG and I really LOVE it! It makes the best coffee and the smell whilst it is filtering is amazing, a really great start to the day. Super easy to use and keep clean. Gorgeous black colour and lovely retro design. Well made and a really great addition to my kitchen. Lots of compliments from friends and family on both the look of the machine and the great coffee it makes.

It is very stylish. Easy to use and keeps coffee hot whist using the hot plate. We were nervous replacing our previous machine but we have been pleasantly surprised.we love it.
