De Smeg DCF02RDEU Rood valt op door zijn retro design en past perfect bij andere Smeg-apparaten. Je kunt de koffiesterkte en hoeveelheid eenvoudig instellen, en met de programmeerfunctie staat er 's ochtends direct verse koffie klaar. De warmhoudplaat houdt de koffie tot 40 minuten warm en schakelt daarna automatisch uit. Wel is de machine relatief duur, en bestaat de behuizing grotendeels uit kunststof, wat niet iedereen verwacht bij deze prijsklasse. Het vullen van het waterreservoir kan onhandig zijn door de klep, en de opgegeven capaciteit van 10 kopjes geldt voor kleine kopjes, niet voor grote mokken. Over het algemeen is het een stijlvolle keuze voor wie design belangrijk vindt, maar er zijn enkele praktische nadelen.

I was super sad when my old machine finally packed up. But then I found SMEG and I really LOVE it! It makes the best coffee and the smell whilst it is filtering is amazing, a really great start to the day. Super easy to use and keep clean. Gorgeous black colour and lovely retro design. Well made and a really great addition to my kitchen. Lots of compliments from friends and family on both the look of the machine and the great coffee it makes.

It is very stylish. Easy to use and keeps coffee hot whist using the hot plate. We were nervous replacing our previous machine but we have been pleasantly surprised.we love it.
