They have you build the car instead of the robot. If you try to transform to the robot it falls apart.

This set was an absolute joy to build! I love the Lego Transformers line, and I have every one. It’s so cool how each one can be transformed into their vehicle counterpart! There is only one downside about this set, and that is the missing pieces. It was only missing a few, and they were easily replaceable, but I expect complete sets from Lego. Other than that it was an awesome set, and totally worth the money!

I have built Soundwave and Optimus and they were great though Optimus kind of wobbly but Bumblebee was good till the end. You build him as his car form and then have to transform him. Such a pain. Arms wouldn't stay in the socket and hood kept falling off. Finally got him done but overall not near as good as the other two. I got him on sale at Target and glad I didn't pay 90 for him. Not bad but not as good as Optimus and Soundwave.
