De Edifier MP230 valt op door zijn stijlvolle retro houten design en levert een verrassend vol stereogeluid voor zijn compacte formaat. De speaker biedt veel aansluitmogelijkheden en is eenvoudig te bedienen met pianotoetsen. De accuduur is voldoende voor dagelijks gebruik, maar niet uitzonderlijk lang. Door het ontbreken van water- en stofbestendigheid is hij vooral geschikt voor binnengebruik. Bas en volume zijn goed, maar niet te vergelijken met grotere modellen. Ideaal voor wie design en geluidskwaliteit belangrijk vindt, maar minder geschikt voor buiten of feesten.

Stylish design. Easy set up! Looks great, but sounds even better! Wooden case gives a deep full sound. Impressive room filling sound. Way more sound than than it looks like it could deliver! Good weight, rubber feet, and wooden (mdf) casing ensure no irritating rattles or annoying vibration noises.

If you like the looks, you’ll get beyond the fact the MP230 is way less portable (on a practical level) than the other portable speakers this sort of money will buy. What’s harder to get beyond is the way its performance suffers at louder volumes.

Ik zocht een klein Bluetooth speakertje waarmee ik af en toe een leuk muziekje kan spelen gespreamd met mijn telefoon. De reviews leken wisselend over het geluid. Zelf was ik aangenaam verrast dat er uit deze kleine enkelvoudige box nog zo’n volle klank wordt voortgebracht. Ook handig in gebruik. Voorlopig enkel gestreamd. En het volume aangepast. Verder nog niets geprobeerd. Dus grondig kan ik nog niet zijn. De box ziet er kwalitatief heel mooi uit. Het is precies wat ik zocht.

I went in looking for Edifier desktop speakers for my laptop and left with this instead because it was a great price and really cool looking. It has suprisingly good sound for a little package and way outshines my old UE Boom. Great base too. Very happy with purchase.

We use this as the sound system for our projector in our wee cinema and boy does it fill the room. Very clear although lacking a wee bit of bass. Really happy with this product, it has a much better sound than the other 2 portable speakers we have which cost substantially more. I recommend having a listen you will be pleasantly surprised. Bruce
