De Akai MPD218 is een compacte pad controller die zich richt op essentiële functionaliteit voor beatmakers. Well made and worked straight away with Logic with no need to set up. Have not found it as good with Koala unfortunately but a good buy never the less.

This little gem is amazing for the price. I’m using it with Logic Pro X and battery 4, works a treat.

Akai smashed this one out of the park — they packed all of the joy of the original MPC pads into a perfectly compact, lightweight USB controller. It is an absolute joy to work with; seamlessly & effortlessly integrated into my Reaper set up. All of the other pads I've used on other controllers didn't quite get that responsive, touch sensitive MPC feel right but this one does. At such a low price point it is a no brainer for software based beatmakers.

Love this little bad boy! For the price it's great value, sturdy and we'll made. It has a lot of cool features and setting robust pads, very easy install, basically plug and play. I'm very happy with this item, as it's my first Pad Controller. Love the red lights that light up on contact.

I love this little thing it's perfect and does what it say. But my only gripe is it's so light and I wish it came with a stand to make it sit up higher. Musical Background: 13yrs set my artist up with quality music for their shows and websites Musical Style: Hip hop,rap,trap,Boom bap,R&b,Dance,Dubstep
