I had nursed my beloved-but-slowly-dying Natural Elite for the last year, dreading having to replace it because I knew it had been discontinued. When it finally gave up the ghost completely, I tried the Microsoft 4000, which I loved except for the fatal flaw of a space bar that took a hammer to press (why, Microsoft??? Did your designers not even bother actually using it before you rushed it to market??? But I digress...) This keyboard has more than ably stepped in as a replacement to my old one. My only quibbles are very minor. I wish the keys were as quiet as the 4000, and I wish it had a dedicated calculator specialty button. (They all seem to do what they say, except the "search" button. As far as I can tell, it does nothing, unless each time I press it, a herd of St. Bernards rushes into the Alps. In which case... oops. Sorry. My bad!) All in all, I highly recommend this to faithful Natural Elite users. Just, er, be careful about using that Search button....

I have an old thumb injury which has resulted in a weaker thumb. I love the ergonomic design but some keyboards were very hard on the keys, meaning, you had to put a lot of pressure on the key to use it. The space bar on this one has a very light touch as do the other keys. I float over the keys on this keyboard. I recommend this to anyone who has sensitive or weaker finger joints and also needs ergonomic.

The keys are very quiet and healthy for your fingers (not too hard nor too soft), a really nice feel! My job entails typing 9 hours a day, so I know a good keyboard from a bad one. The middle pad (Home, End, Delete, PageUp, PageDown, Insert, and 4 arrow keys) take time to get used to, but that's a small trade-off to get the superior ergonomy compared to Microsoft's ergonomic keyboard, and you do get a keyboard that is not a wide, which is great too when you type on your lap on a chair. Love having a "Sleep" button, miss having "Back" and "Forward" buttons. The space bar keys work really well, we will see what happens over time to this keyboard...

I just bought my second keyboard - one for home and one for work. This is the most comfortable and quiet keyboard. When pressing the keys, it's smooth, easy and comfortable. I have a Microsoft that isn't as comfortable as this one. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who uses an ergo keyboard.

I cannot understand why everyone does not use one of these split design keyboards. They allow your arm to hang naturally at your side while you type. A regular keyboard makes you keep your elbows pinned to your side. All you have to do is plug this keyboard in and your computer will recognize it - you may have to reboot. It is hard to find these split design keyboards anywhere. The price offered here at Amazon was very reasonable and with my Amazon Prime it arrived it two days. I highly recommend this item.
