HP USB-C/A Universeel Dock G2 (USB C), Docking station + USB-hub, Zwart

Omdat mijn laptop geen DP-ALT ondersteund voor USB-C, Moet je toch een displaylink dock hebben. Deze kosten wat meer CPU kracht, maar daar merk ik zelf weinig van. Verder voldoende poorten een aansluitingen. Met displaylink kan eigenlijk 99% van alle laptops hierop aangesloten worden. Ook oude met USB-A op 3.0. Ik zocht vooral een dock die hoge refresh rates aan kan, en dit is qua compatibaliteit vaak wel een issue. Deze kan met gemak 2x 1080P op 180hz aan!

Nice functionality and footprint. One downside - I'm used to keeping my laptop plugged into it's dock, but this one charges continuously when attached. Would rather have the ability to turn this off

The doc does not provide power to charge my laptop. Other HP docs, I have used to provide power to the laptop.

The HP G2 Dock has been great for my HP OmniBook 7 laptop. I hook up external hard drives, memory sticks, a 2nd monitor, and more to it. One simple USB-C connection and everything is clean and instantly ready. It is also nice that the G2 Dock sleeps when the laptop sleeps, shutting down all my spinning external hard drives. A bonus is that the dock frees up my 120V charger that came with my computer for on-the-go needs.

LOL, this little piece of equipment is fantastic! I did not know it would keep my laptop charged up too (duh on part). What else can I say other than it looks professional, connects easily to my laptop and monitor and looks great beside my Bose TV speaker sitting directly under my monitor. Everything is now soo convenient and I get to use a regular size keyboard and mouse instead of my laptop keyboard.....yay!
