StarTech.com 4-poorts Ethernet Power Over Ethernet+ Injector-converter

Works great! It is a very small unit since the power supply is separate. It is driving Aruba AP-215 access points just fine.

This is a big beastly PoE injector, does both standards PoE (802.3at) and PoE+ (802.3af ), so it can handle some decent wattage on each port. It supposedly (I say this because I haven't had anything that cranks the power up that high) can do 120w, which is pretty crazy for how small and compact this thing is. It basically takes 4 cables in the back, 4 come out the front, and a power cable goes in the side. This takes your normal ethernet runs and makes them PoE compatible. For the price you can probably get a switch that does this, but there are cases where remote injection might be nice (you can also run just the power only I believe if you don't need ethernet), or you already have a managed non-PoE switch and want an easy way to keep using it. For me it was a nice way to power my 4 AP's at my house without having to use 4 separate injectors.

Works great. The camera needed POE + which is "supposed" to be provided by the switch, but it didn't work until we plugged this inline. Highly recommend it.

There is no way this thing puts out 30watts of power. I had a 100' network run which is within limits and i had a AccessPoint requiring 15watts of power and i was getting the blinking light pattern on the AccessPoint indicating not enough power being supplied after about 10min of access point usage.
