De Philips Series 3000 S3242/12 is een betaalbare, veelzijdige rotary-scheerapparaat die comfortabel en schoon scheert, ook voor gevoelige huid. Het apparaat is licht, makkelijk schoon te maken en werkt zowel nat als droog. De accu gaat lang mee en laadt snel op. Het scheert echter minder glad dan duurdere modellen, vooral op lastige plekken zoals de hals. De rotary-techniek vraagt wat oefening. De trimmer is handig, maar niet ideaal voor langere baard. Al met al een goede keuze voor wie prijs en gebruiksgemak belangrijk vindt, maar niet de allerbeste scheerervaring verwacht.

Amazon advertises this unit as including a Travel Pouch. No pouch in the package. I would have expected a cleaning brush to be included like every other Norelco I've purchased over the years - no brush. Shaves no closer than my 10-year old shaver. No blade improvements in a decade? Not happy with spending $60 for a bare bones piece of equipment that should reflect the Philips/Norelco name in a better light.

Reasonably close shave with modest effort. Great to be able to use it in the shower. Very easy cleaning.

It's a really good shaver, I purchased it to replace my very old Philips PT920 shaver. Having used the Philips for years it was an easy decision to purchase another Philips. I would say that my older shaver seems to be better made, the on/off switch is a much better design and all round just feels better quality, ( maybe its a sign of the times). I would still highly recommend the Philips 3000 s3242/12 as its a really good shaver.

The razor is extremely easy to use. The size of the unit fits nicely in your hand and it cuts and trims perfectly. The razor is also affordably' priced.
