De Philips STH3010/70 is een handige reissteamer die snel opwarmt en compact opbergt, perfect voor wie snel kreukels wil gladstrijken zonder strijkplank. Met 1000W en 20g/min stoom verwijdert hij geurtjes en bacteriën effectief, en het ontwerp is veilig voor delicate stoffen zoals zijde. Kopers moeten echter rekening houden met het kleine 100ml waterreservoir dat slechts ongeveer 5 minuten stoomtijd biedt - genoeg voor 3 kledingstukken, maar vaker bijvullen is nodig bij grotere sessies. Sommige gebruikers melden dat de stoomkracht te beperkt is voor stevige kreukels in overhemden, waardoor het apparaat beter geschikt is voor licht onderhoud dan volledige strijkvervanging. Het gebrek aan instelbare temperatuur of stoomstanden kan ook een beperking zijn voor wie meer controle wenst.

For a small, travel-sized steamer there is nothing to complain about. The steamer heats up quickly and does the job on a decent variety of fabrics and garments. If you have a proper steamer at home and are looking to downsize, this is in no way a replacement. This will not smooth out a business shirt, not a miracle worker but a great product in comparison to other travel steamers on the market.
