De Philips Azur 8000 Series DST8050/20 wordt geprezen om zijn krachtige stoomafgifte en het vermogen om hardnekkige kreukels snel te verwijderen, zelfs bij dikke stoffen. De grote watertank en automatische stoomfunctie maken het strijken comfortabel en efficiënt. Dankzij de één temperatuurinstelling hoef je niet te wisselen tussen stoffen en voorkom je schroeiplekken. Wel is het apparaat relatief zwaar, wat voor sommige gebruikers vermoeiend kan zijn bij langdurig gebruik. Ook ontbreekt een sprayfunctie en duurt het acht minuten voordat de automatische uitschakeling actief wordt. Over het algemeen is dit een zeer krachtige en gebruiksvriendelijke stoomstrijkijzer, vooral geschikt voor wie veel en vaak strijkt.

Very easy to use - auto sets the temperature depending on the item being ironed.Large tank for steam.Best iron we've had so far.

I bought this to replace my 15 year old iron.Tech has changed a bit in 15 years! I love the way this new one auto sets the temperature (so you can’t burn fabrics like I used to!). There’s heaps of steam, so I don’t need to spray my linens with water or an ironing aid, so I save on space! Love it!
