De TP-LINK Kasa Smart Radiator Starter Kit is eenvoudig te installeren en werkt met de meeste radiatoren dankzij de meegeleverde adapters. De bediening via app en spraakassistenten is handig, en je kunt per kamer de temperatuur regelen. De batterij gaat ruim een jaar mee en slimme functies zoals schema’s, geofencing en vorstbeveiliging zijn aanwezig. Nadelen zijn het donkere display, soms onnauwkeurige temperatuurmeting, een fragiel batterijklepje en dat app-bediening alleen werkt met een cloudverbinding. Over het algemeen is het een veelzijdige en gebruiksvriendelijke keuze voor slimme verwarming.

Easy to set up. Easy to use. Early days but seems to work fine. I've already got a Tapo hub so just a shame it needs a Kasa hub and can't use the Tapo hub.

For a lot of reasons, I have no control over the flow of heating into my flat. With these adjusters, they make my life much easier and healthier. I can also adjust the temperature via my phone should I need to. The instructions are a bit complicated and it's taking me some time to get used to the timer. I would like to see the manufacturer improve the settings on this device. But I'm going to give it five stars for it invention, and also you can add other products once you have installed the hub.

I bought this to try out, and it was easy to install and connect to the hub. Control is easy directly, and the led display shows the temperature it's set to (rather than just 1-5 on a standard TRV) Can also control from an app, and use a matching room thermometer to control it.

If memory serves me correctly, and WPA security was needed as app refused to connect hub with older WEP security….all OK once I got it setup.
