Leica Trinovid 10x42 HD

It was well reviewed by Which and gave more magnification than my current more compact binoculars.

Bought these binoculars for a trip to Africa. Wasn't disappointed - clarity of vision (all aspects: magnification, brightness, focus and field of view) was excellent. Enabled brilliant viewing of animals - especially birds. Very easy to use and adjust. Relatively lightweight and not too big to travel with.

These are ruggedly constructed binoculars, but definitely 'entry level' Leica. There is very noticeable chromatic aberration if you move your eyes even slightly off centre at the eyepieces. Wish I could have afforded the Ultravid.
