Good Points: A good scope that seems to be well made. At the moment only used it for watching birds at the end of a short garden as a test and it works well. Very pleased with the purchase. Improvement Points: None so far

Good Points: Amazingly clear viewing Improvement Points: None at this time Maybe to come with tripod I had been informed by friend who owns one that it came with it’s own tripod. Never mind

This scope is amazing quality, making good use of the ED glass. Even when fully zoomed in at the tight end (15x to 45x) the resolution is superb across the whole frame. It produces a very bright image with no coloured fringing visible, in my tests at least. At under £300 it represents outstanding value in my view. Having researched significantly more expensive scopes I chose this on the basis of lots of online tests and reviews. I haven't been disappointed. It's also fairly compact and light in use. Coupled with the Vanguard VEO 235AP it is an incredibly cost effective way to buy a high quality bird watching outfit.

I purchased this as a gift for my sister and brother in law for their lake cabin. They had seen mine (swarovski) and wanted one (not as high end as the Swarovski) for themselves. I researched and landed on this one. It has not had extensive use, but it seems to have very good optics, particularly for the price. The double focus knobs are new to me but seemed to work well. I think that they will enjoy it for their casual wildlife viewing.
