TP-LINK Tapo T100 smart-bewegingssensor

Tplink Smart Motion Sensor has been a great addition to my home automation. I need not worry about turning on/off the light in one of the dark spots in the house. Love the product.

Tja, wat kan je zeggen over een bewegingsmelder? De Tapo T100 is als die ene betrouwbare vriend: geen poespas, maar gewoon dingen regelen en het leuk hebben. Fris, functioneel en verrassend veelzijdig: de slimme sensor die je huis doet glunderen zonder dat je het doorhebt. Maar alleen als je een Tapo Hub hebt.

Honestly couldn't be more happy. Bought 2 of these. One of walk-in and one for garage, both linked to LED lights and a switch. As soon as you walk in, they instantly send signal to hub and switch everything on (on a timer of around 3 mins). I have spent money on much more expensive products that don't work anywhere near as well or as responsive. You will need the Hub (only about 30 bucks)... but you can get a Tapo smart plug for around 22 bucks which activates through the Tapo sensor, essentially turning anything on and off in the house, even if it's not tapo. After adding devices through app, Go to Smart option at bottom > press + to add a new automation > Add trigger (the sensor) > click on THEN to add action > add the plug or LED strip light > set how long you want the duration for. SO COOL. very happy.

When paired with the tapo hub, this works perfectly. We use it to automatically turn smart lights on and off in our kitchen when we enter and leave. Will be purchasing more in the near future.

Yes, it does use a hob. The hub is not expensive and like most Tapo devices it was easy to install. Now I can connect switches and temperature/humity devices. Works well
