Deze LaCie Rugged externe harde schijf heeft een capaciteit van 2TB op een 2,5" HDD. Het apparaat gebruikt een USB-C aansluiting met een overdrachtsnelheid tot ongeveer 130 MB/s en wordt via de USB-poort van de computer gevoed. De behuizing is ontworpen om vallen, stoten en regen te weerstaan. De afmetingen liggen rond 135 x 86 x 19 mm en het gewicht rond 100 g. This is the second LaCie external drive that I have purchased. The first is still working fine, but only USB 2. The new rugged mini is much faster and more portable. Would never buy another brand!

Omdat ik niets ontvangen heb en zelfs mijn geld niet heb teruggekregen. Als je contact zoekt via de chat, krijg je alleen maar een AI-robot.

Good Points: Large capacity in a rugged design, but you must remember this is a HD not an SSD and so will still be sensitive to shock despite the design. The capacity size is great for the price. Improvement Points: As an HD not an SSD this has a slower speed of read and write, so it is important to think of the use to which you will put this device. I am using it as a photo bank and so speed is not so important. The purchase was forced by price, because if I could have afforded the same as SSD I would have bought an SSD.

Good Points: Brilliant design and capacity. Latest connections with great speeds. Improvement Points: The price. That's it. Could be about 10 pounds cheaper.

This is my second LaCie and, a bit disappointed. Sadly, unlike the first here the cable detaches from the drive and with that, has the potential to also have a bad connection. Also is the connection point for the usb cable a bit flimsy and could be design tho be secure. The speed of the drive is nothing to write home about and is rather average. With that said, there are a few drives that have the same or better drop and “ abuse “ ratings, for far less money.
