De Genelec 8010 APM is een compacte studiomonitor met een zeer nauwkeurige en heldere geluidsweergave, ideaal voor kleine studio's en mobiele setups. De bouwkwaliteit is uitstekend en de Iso-Pod voet zorgt voor goede isolatie. Houd er rekening mee dat de basweergave beperkt is door de kleine woofer en dat er vervorming optreedt bij hoge volumes in het laag. Magnetische afscherming ontbreekt, wat relevant kan zijn in sommige studio-omgevingen.

These offer fantastic clarity. Another thing that stuck me was the ability to accurately hear placement of different instruments panning. If you are using a small room this is plenty volume. Sound is very crisp. I upgraded from Presonus 5 and the difference is night and day. These speakers will last me a very long time. A very high qaulity product. If your priority is clarity over volume this is a good option. Make sure you buy female XLR to go to your source of audio.

for the price tag, i don't think that the sound quality is justifiable, the sound image is nice but it cannot be played too loud and gets boxy when pumping up the volume (quite early), also you can't feel the sub-bass freq because of the roll-off. the portability is nice but in the end, the actual use of it for me was not valuable considering the price tag

These monitors should not sound this good for the size I have a tiny room and have had bigger monitors. These out perform all my other monitors hands down. The initials sound is flat and what you hear is what your actually hearing compared to my Avatone headphones for reference too these are pretty flat. I would advise anyone with a small room to get these. Best investment you will make, sometimes the most expensive monitor isn’t the most suited it all depends on the size of the room also .Build quality is supreme and built in isolation so no need for pads either. You could add the sub but honestly these have serious bass for the size. Obviously not deep sub bass but trust me on this they will shock you. If you have a small room like a box room which is your only option like me these are you next purchase you won’t be disappointed.
