TP-LINK Archer AX55

Ik ben op zoek naar een Router met een goede qos die gewoon 940 Mbit kan halen, helaas haalt deze router met qos 830 Mbit.

Op zich een prima apparaat, maar het doet niet helemaal wat ik ervan verwachtte. Had ik de review van "linuxpro" hier op Tweakers ter harte genomen, dan had ik wellicht niet voor de AX55 gekozen. De EasyMesh-functionaliteit, die ik juist wilde gebruiken, blijkt alleen te werken voor de hoofd-SSID en niet voor de IoT-SSID. Die laatste heb ik juist hard nodig, omdat IoT-apparaten vrijwel uitsluitend werken met oudere beveiligingsinstellingen en klassiek 2,4 GHz-wifi. Om die reden ben ik teruggevallen op het afzonderlijk configureren van elke AX55. Een EasyMesh controller met satellites zit er voor mij dus niet in. I sent this TP-Link Archer AX55 AX3000 Dual Band Gigabit Wi-Fi 6 Router back a day after I received it, the ethernet kept losing signal with everyone's cell phones and computers staying in the same place. I was hoping the router would be better, after reading everyone's good reviews, but in my case, no. I put my old router back and everyone's ethernet worked normally again. I believe for less types of devices, the TP-Link Archer AX55 AX3000 Dual Band Gigabit Wi-Fi 6 Router would be ideal. But not if there are a lot of different kind of devices on the same place. This is why I only rate 1 star

Wifi access bridges, which are sometimes necessary in a detached house, are becoming expensive and fairly rare. Setting up this tp-link is annoying: the software on offer is terrible, and the one on the site is a little better, but you need a computer nearby and some technical skills to get a satisfactory result with wifi, but nothing with a wired connection. Finally, the support (which is really only by email) is ridiculous: it doesn't answer questions and stupidly multiplies its own, all of which is desperately slow... I was only able to solve the wifi problem with the help of the LDLC technician in the shop.
