De ECG RK 1740 waterkoker biedt een ruime inhoud van 1,7 liter en een krachtig vermogen van 2000 W, waardoor water snel wordt gekookt. Het verborgen verwarmingselement en het anti-kalkfilter maken het onderhoud eenvoudig. De waterkoker is voorzien van oververhittingsbeveiliging, wat de veiligheid verhoogt. Nadelen zijn het ontbreken van een warmhoudfunctie, geen temperatuurinstellingen en de handgreep wordt niet koel tijdens gebruik. Just don't bother..I'm sure the element has burnt out and blows the fuse ! Don't want to pay the postage so now replaced with a Delonghi, hopefully this will last longer ?

great value kettle, it has a nice chunky handle and a big water display that looks great when it's lit up blue.

Very stylish,but poor quality. This kettle does not always switch off when the water has boiled. It turns off - presumably because the sensor detects that the water has boiled. BUT ! The switch on the handle stays on the ON position. So when the water in the kettle has cooled down a little, the kettle starts to boil the water again ! I had to switch it off at the socket in order to ensure safety.

This kettle works as it should, fast boil, the water window on the side of the kettle is very good much better than most kettles where the window is behind the handle.
